XR shooting places us in the middle of the action

On 9th November 2022, the special program "Pride of China", jointly produced by China Central Radio and Television (CCTV) and the Ministry of Emergency Management, was broadcast on CCTV-12 (which is CCTV's social and legal channel), and CCTV-1, with AET providing LED display services for the "Pride of China" program.

The theme of "Pride of China" in 2022 is "The Light of Life", which is divided into six chapters: " Fire - Blue Light", "Dawn - Light of Dawn", " Heart of the People - Warm Light", "Courage - Emblematic Light", "Guardian - Gazing" and " Looking up - Starlight".

The evening fully utilized XR technology and film techniques to recreate the scene of the rescues by using LED displays supplied by AET. Surrounding the stage with thrilling true-to life scene, realistic sound effect, allowing the audience to immerse themselves in the scene.

Naked eye 3D to unleash the creativity

Over the past two years, naked eye 3D technology has been constantly appearing on the city's main screen, its immersive experience and three-dimensional realistic display effect has reformed the public's perception of LED display technology. Naked eye 3D LED display keeps attracting crowds, it is becoming a major attraction of urban landmarks and boosting the economy that brought by the applications.

"Global Chinese Music Chart" is a music charting programme organized by China Central Radio and Television (CCTV) and co-organized by major media in the pan-Asian region, which is aiming to establish the most credible and authoritative music chart in pan-Asia area since its launch in 2014.

AET continues to help the "Global Chinese Music Chart Opening Ceremony" and "Global Chinese Music Chart" to create a splendid stage with LED display integrated solutions. The use of naked eye 3D technology enables the stage to be dazzling immersive and full of visual surprises.

Interaction beyond space and time

Chen Dong, Liu Yang and Cai Xuzhe, the three astronauts, taught for the first time in the Chinese space station at 15:40 on 12th of October 2022. The main ground-based classroom is located at the Space Application Engineering and Technology Center of the Chinese Academy of Sciences, while other sub-classrooms are set up in Shandong, Henan and Yunnan.

In order to allow students and other audience who are watching the live broadcast to understand the differences between on the space and on the earth more effectively, this special classroom from space requires HD quality live images and real-time interactions. 

AET uses a 5760mm*2592mm sized ultra-high-definition LED screen to create an "interactive" communication medium between space and earth in the main classroom of the Chinese Academy of Sciences. This large-scale LED screen displays the true environment of the three astronauts in the space station vividly and clearly. The LED screen from AET provides a platform for the "teachers in space" to interact with ground-based classes in real time via video calls, while fulfilling the needs of sub-classroom relay and live broadcasting.
