Recently, the cooperation project "The next generation full-color display-nitride Red Micro-LED" between AET Displays Limited and Suzhou Laboratory of Materials Science (Gusu laboratory) being one of the three projects passed unanimously among the 29 projects in the first batch of scientific research projects approved by Suzhou laboratory, which was initially approved by the technical review group and financial review group of 18 academicians.

As an important R & D institution serving for major national strategic projects, gathering innovative resources and cooperating with scientific research institutes,universities and well-known enterprises, the construction goal of Suzhou Laboratory of materials science is to closely follow the "three key points" of national major strategic needs in the field of Materials Science, regional economic development and cutting-edge technologies of the future scientific and technological revolution.Suzhou Laboratory of materials science is aiming to achieve original innovation and strategic technological breakthrough, and forming independent intellectual property rights.At the same time,it supports breakthrough technologies to national manufacturing industries to help with its development and industrial upgrading.

"The next generation full-color display-Nitride Red Micro LED" is a cooperative project between AET and Suzhou Laboratory of materials science. The project number is G2109, which aims to achieve the direct preparation of high light efficiency InGaN based Red mMcro LED;and the study of the color mixing technology based on nitride blue Micro LED + Red quantum dots. This study is  the also the preparation of Red Micro LED.
This cooperative R & D project being one of the strategic move of AET,would promote the development of new display industry based on Nitride Micro LED technology and improve the independent R & D capacity of Chinese semiconductor industry.This project would also fulfill some of the existing technical problems in China.

On 28th of June , Youzhu Zheng, academician of the Chinese Academy of Sciences, honorary director of the Strategic Advisory Committee of Suzhou laboratory and academician of AET enterprise academician workstation cooperation;Chunlei Zhao, general manager of AET Displays Limited, and Wenji Liang, deputy general manager of AET Displays Limited and chairman of AET enterprise academician workstation attended the seminar on strategic planning of Suzhou laboratory.

The strategic cooperation between AET Displays Limited and Suzhou Laboratory of Materials science will further improve the independently improved technical level,promote the development of display industry at the same time. AET Displays Limited aiming to improve the quality of live for people by bring LED display into high-end civil markets.
